Originally built as a Church of England Mission in 1884, Ashtonvale is a working farm run by the Hill family since 1958. The original family chapel has just been restored.
Ashtonvale offers comfortable full board accommodation in en-suite rondavels and cottages for up to 65 people at realistic rates. Our rates range between R240.00 and R300.00 per person per day full board. Other options include a B&B rate and one self-catering cottage sleeping eight people. The quiet surroundings, peaceful atmosphere and good, wholesome fresh farm fare will enable you to relax away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day living. This guest farm caters for the whole family : only your pets are not allowed. liquor licenced

Our facilities are ideal for wedding receptions (in the barn), church outings, sports club getaways, mini conferences and school educational groups. We give children an "Edufun" experience where they learn how important farms are from an economic and ecological point of view.
