“Mouse in the House” was produced as an educational series and is of a particular interest to parents and educators that can utilize the DVDs, to effectively teach children about science in a fun and interactive way.

Each episode includes a science based experiment that aims to improve comprehension and retention of science concepts. The experiments encourage children to reason and engage their imagination. The results from performing these activities will sustain the attention and interest of the learners in the class room and assist in personal growth and development and motivate children to further explore science and the world around them.

The animated host, Maxine the Mouse, will delight the kids. She instructs them to perform experiments and demonstrates real life examples. 3D animation of the experiments allows the viewer to see beyond the immediate visual scope and provides insight into the world of molecular structure and concept visualization.

As such when the DVD is used in the classroom in conjunction with the parents at home it has been found that the children work with more zeal and interest and also engage in healthy class interaction between themselves and the teacher. The teacher can also save time and energy due to the effective visual content. With this series teachers together with parents at home can now effectively provide a comprehensive base in Science, Maths & Technology for children from grade 3 – 6.
