This eclectic arrangement of fun, relaxation and adventure has something for everybody. Situated just 10km’s from the centre of Pietermaritzburg on top of Whispers Hill, the Village overlooks the “Sleepy Hollow”. The farm has an amazing warm & welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little bit longer

A visit to Crafty Duck Village will leave you feeling on top of the world! You’ll be welcomed by a team of friendly, hospitable hosts to a mystical combination of the wild and the tame, the cute and the ugly, the bold and the beautiful . . .

Upon exploring the farm you’ll soon be enchanted in a wonderland inspired by animal lovers, farmers, artists, food enthusiasts and people who love people. .

ENTRANCE FEES

The entrance fee to the Village is only R25 per person from the age of 1 yrs and over. You are issued with an eccess sticker which gives you access to the entire farm for the day. People who visit the Restaurant only are not charged an entry fee and issued with a restaurant sticker.

The Animal Farm
On arrival you receive a free can of food to feed all our friendly farm animals. Our goats and sheep are ever so ready to take a snack from your hand.

Beautiful talking parrots, ducks, geese, chickens, cows and many more farm animals draw you into our fascinating farmyard.

Rupredro our Alpaca will meet you as you arrive and thereafter hand reared animals will steal your heart in every direction.

Pheasants, Loeries, Turkeys, Mandarin ducks and Peacocks drag you into a world of colorful array you could never imagine.

Then there is the soft and cuddlies who can warm even the coldest heart. Come and hold a bunny or listen to our guineapigs chatting.

Join us for a world of adventurous trail rides through the woods. . .

Well trained and willing, our horses are ready to take you on relaxed but exciting rides with panoramic views over the sleepy hollow (PMB)
