Photography is my passion and as you will see it’s not merely about the subject but rather about capturing the moment. I live in the majestic Valley of 1000 hills in Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa. Nature is my canvas and a lot of my photos are taken in and around this beautiful piece of Africa. I have a passion for animals and wildlife photography is my first love. There is a thrill that comes with capturing that moment when a gorgeous lion cub jumps from the bushes and runs to catch up with mom or capturing the gentleness in the eye of a magnificent African elephant that just cannot be explained.
I am a mother of two wonderful boys and love to capture those special, priceless moments and expressions. When it comes to photographing children I try to capture the essence and natural beauty that every child has and tend to stray from rigid smiles that often come with more formal portraits. Children will often produce their best smile when relaxed and happily doing something they love.
