Delvera is a charming little agricultural village in the heart of the Stellenbosch winelands, with many nooks and crannies offering unexpected delights: a family restaurant with garden tables and a kids jungle gym under shady trees, wine and olive tastings, outdoor activities such as hiking and biking in stunning surroundings, loads of kids’ activities including a kids party venue, delicious farm fare and panoramic views.

We offer:

Delvera Fauna and Flora - The Greater Simonsberg Conservancy is home to more than 60 bird species, more than 120 indigenous plants, at least 24 geophytic plant species (bulbs) most of which flower during Spring, a wide variety of trees and larger shrubs, plus a range of reptiles – such as tortoises, lizards and snakes – and mammals, including marsh rats, striped mice, duikers, rock rabbits and porcupines. Bigger animals reside in the nature reserves and parks within the Conservancy boundaries.

Funky Monkey now at DelVera - The Funky Monkey is a wonderland of creative entertainment.Parents can enjoy a welcome break while their children can lose themselves in a world of arts and crafts,create beautiful,functional objects and learn new skills.

The Funky Monkey was born in Plettenberg Bay about six years ago and became a favourite with kids and parents alike – a must-do during the holidays and weekends. Many households boast the lovely artworks created by our visitors – from fabric-painted, glass-painted, beaded treasures to hand-crafted dolls and mobiles and bouncy spiders!

The Funky Monkey is now situated at Delvera and will no doubt become a firm family favourite. Kids can be entertained in a stimulating, safe environment while their parents enjoy a glass of wine, a cup of coffee or a meal.

We also do Crafty Birthday parties!

Kiddies Parties - A Kiddies Party at DelVera is the way to go! We’ve got go-carts, bootcamp, ponies and horses, a jungle gym and a trampoline, pottery and much more!

We have a kids party venue at Delvera – KIDS XING (Kids Crossing) and it’s perfect for summer and winter parties!

We have: Pedal go-carts, a jungle gym with a slide, trampoline, kids bike track, kids bootcamp area, you can even book a pottery party or a craft party AND we do helium balloons in various colours!

Kids love Delvera. Whether you want to spend a day or plan a birthday party, Delvera is the way to go!

Simonsberg Café - The Simonsberg Café boasts beautiful views of the DelVera garden with Table Mountain in the background, delicious food and a cozy fireplace for winter and a fairytale garden to enjoy in summer.

Weddings and Conferences - In the heart of the Winelands, Delvera is an exquisite venue with a tranquil atmosphere that lends itself to the ideal venue for your wedding or celebration.

We strive to cater for the individual needs of every event.

Delvera has a farm atmosphere, beautiful gardens and breathtaking views of Table and Simonsberg Mountains, vineyards, and fynbos, making it ideal for every sort of celebration.

The function venue is also ideal for informal conferences or workshops. We offer a standard package, but encourage you to inform our team of your special needs and requirements. It includes: An informal, relaxed conference venue, seating for up to 160 people (depending on the seating arrangements), flip-chart, white board screen, wheelchair access and wireless internet connectivity.
