Description

The self-catering unit is new, completed in November 2009. The open plan lounge has a television with satellite (DStv) reception, 40 plus TV channels including eight sport channels, a DVD player and fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher. There is internet access and a laundry facility available on site in the centre.

227 Eden on the Bay is an up market two bedroom, two bathroom condominium located in a brand new mixed use development directly on Blouberg's Big Bay Beach. 35 minutes from downtown Cape Town and splendidly situated for the 2010 World Cup and all the pleasures of the Western Cape. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed and a full en suite bathroom with a separate shower. The second bedroom has two single beds. The second bathroom is adjacent to the second bedroom and has a shower. The unit is 78m2 (840sq feet) plus there is a 30m2 (323sq feet) exclusive use outside balcony. The Unit is 100m from the beach. All facilities for are on site and within 100m of the unit. There are two reserved undercover parking bays.

As good as it gets!

I had the pleasure of staying in the property from December 2010 to February 2011. I had high hopes and these were surpassed by what we experienced. This is probably the best situated unit on a busy resort that can get noisy the closer to the restaurants you go. This unit is set back from the restaurants so there is also not the constant smell of the restaurant kitchens to ruin your figure. The apartment itself is perfectly laid out and equipped i.e. new and modern, better than our own home in the UK. The owners can't do enough to help and security is good. Private parking is a big bonus because it gets busy on weekends. If staying for a while, there is an internet cafe below where you can buy wi-fi, but other units further away won't get the signal. A perfect property on a great development - you'd be crazy not to book it now. I'm already looking forward to returning one day.
