Teaching children to ride in a safe and fun-filled environment with pony camps, shows and fun days held regularly. Lesson groups are small and with pupils of a similar level. We are lucky to be surrounded by beautiful countrysideAbout Us Photo 2 - large, and make use of it by sometimes taking lesson-groups on “outrides”. We also offer pony parties and have self catering accomodation available.
Sun Valley’s “Junior Jockeys” (4-6 years)
Teaching small children to be comfortable around ponies. All start in individual lessons then move to small groups. Also includes basic pony care, grooming, feeding and handling.
Sun Valley for Children (6-14 years)
Teaching children to ride in a safe and fun-filled environment. Start with individual lessons and move to groups with a maximum of 8 students. Groups of different levels through which pupils are promoted. 24 school ponies ranging from safe first ponies to competitive ponies. Shows, pony camps, fun days and outrides held regularly. Ponies available for half-bait and full-bait with possibility of competing in interschool shows.
Sun Valley for juniors (14-18 years)
Lessons available for junior riders. Beginners start with individual lessons and move to groups. Half-baiting & full-baiting options available.
Sun Valley Livery
Stabling provided for both competitive & non-competitive horses and ponies. Full support provided for competitive children & juniors. Preparation for shows, transport to shows & assistance at the show.
Sun Valley Pony Parties:
Pony parties in a safe, fun friendly environment. Includes - Party venue with play equipment, Pony rides/ pony activities, Tables & chairs, Tea & Coffee for moms.
You bring food & additional decorations, paper cups and plates and can arrive 30 minutes before the party to set up.
Included in pony party:
*Pony rides (for up to 20 rides, additional rides at an extra cost)
*A rosette for each child (up to 20 children, additional rosettes charged)
*Feed ponies & Groom ponies
*Instructor to supervise party
*2 games (choose from games’ list below)
Games:
Tail –on-the-pony
Marshmallow munch
Balloon pop
Eat-the-chocolate
Optional Extra Activities:
Pass the parcel.
Paint horse shoes.
Create Marie biscuit faces.
Gymkhana Games on horseback – replaces pony rides at an additional cost.
