The Carvery is a small and relaxed restaurant where for a set fee (currently R89) diners get a 3 course meal with a buffet carvery as the main course.
Description
The Carvery is a small and relaxed restaurant where for a set fee (currently R89) diners get a 3 course meal with a buffet carvery as the main course. Patrons choose a starter (soup, pate, salad, etc), then help themselves to the carvery (roast beef, roasted Karoo lamb, chicken, roast potatoes, etc), and finish up with a choice from the dessert menu (Crème brulee, chocolate mousse, malva pudding, ice cream, etc).
The carvery is served buffet style with the unusual stipulation that you can only have more if you have cleared what is on your plate!
The venue is quaint and includes and outside section and a kiddies play area.
Tips
•Because you can only get more food once you have cleared your plate it is advisable to serve small helpings.
